Cotton Fiber Analysis Laboratory

The following physical properties of fiber are tested in our cotton fiber analysis laboratory.  İZLADAŞ, which serves as Izmir central laboratory, Selçuk laboratories and Şanlıurfa Çalık laboratory, started to serve Uçak Tarım Lisaslı Depoculuk A.Ş., which started its activities in Söke region on 26.10.2022, with Söke Branch Laboratory and now has 4 locations. Currently available equipment in our laboratory includes  5 units of Uster HVI M 1000 (High Volume Instrument) and 1 unit of Nep Tester MN100. The machinery equipment is passed through daily calibration checks regularly.

As per the Cotton Standard nr TSE 4102, our laboratory has been dealing with testing activities under the laboratory conditions e.g.  65% ± relative humidity and 21°C ±1 temperature. The humidity and temperature values of laboratory play an important role on effectiveness of measurement equipment. Therefore laboratory conditions are regularly measured and recorded.

The samples are passed through a conditioning process in order to provide the cotton with moisture value of 6,75 - 8,25. Our laboratory is subject to the requirements of ICA Bremen Cotton Round Test Control system.

Bale Analysis:

Analyses are held on samples of 120-150 gr taking from each bundle. 1 Micronaire, 1 color- impurity and 1 fiber length - strength measurement are measured for each bundles sample in this analysis.

Lint Cotton Analysis:

3-repeats HVI analyses are done on cotton sample taken as a representative sample of cotton lot. (each repeat includes the measurements of 1 Micronaire, 2 colors –impurity and 2 fiber length –strength)
